Solutions71 is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to support a Department of Defense customer. The customer requires communication & IT services to support its CCE (C2 systems, information management systems, mail/message systems, and security systems). This support includes systems, networks, and telecommunication engineering & administration, information assurance, computer network defense, and web portal & application development as well as supporting electronic key management, project management, portfolio & configuration management, enterprise architecture, and knowledge & information management. Customer mission areas include: Information System Management Services (ISMS), Information Technology Services (ITS), Information System Administration Services (ISAS), Knowledge, Information and Application Services (KIAS), Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Services (CIAS), and Information System Support Services (ISSS).
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
- Provide support in Operational Applications Work Center in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support of existing applications and in the development of new applications in multiple classification domains, to include creation of software development project plans.
- Develop/code new application according to approved project plan. Adhering to DoD security requirements and work center coding standards as primary metric, code application according to approved project plan. Upload revised code to government specified repository utilizing government specified versioning control software.
- Fix all assigned operational issues with applications. Shall maintain and troubleshoot assigned operational and maintenance (O&M) custom web applications.
- Conduct assigned feasibility studies of all major O&M work and new service requests and create timelines with level of effort and costs. Developer must be agile and capable of documenting and implementing new requirements on very short timelines to meet command and control requirements
- Conduct software testing and evaluation as directed by software project managers
- Develop associated new application documentation. Using existing Government templates and work center standards, contractor shall create manuals and required documentation for newly developed application, using standard office suite of applications.
Requirements:
- IAW DoD 8570.01-M, must meet IAT II minimum qualifications.
- 4 years of web application development and programming experience using Microsoft .NET platform or a passing score on the Microsoft Exam, Exam 98-361: Software Development Fundamentals.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Microsoft Project will be the main tool for tracking projects.
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
- Must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
