Solutions 71 is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Analyst to support and provide Information Systems (IS) operational and technical services for the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) and the T-JFMCC at the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters, HI. Various CPF technical and operations services to CPF, MOC and T-JFMCC will be provided in accordance with DoD security, governance and technical policies, and maintenance support of a range of specialized equipment requiring a service level agreement (SLA) for minimal downtime to avoid impacting operations.
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
- Provide Network Administration services of CPF systems, to include production-high, production-low, test-high, test-low, wireless networks, and the programmer development environment
- Run periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) backups on all identified CPF system layer 1-4 infrastructure, servers, applications, and databases to maintain continuity of operations. 100% backup of all identified layer 1-4 infrastructure, servers, applications and databases.
- Provide N645 headquarters IT support and problem resolution during Government normal hours of operations (0700 – 1630), Monday through Friday. (20 to 100)
- Implement Information Assurance (IA) and Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) security updates (software patches), including testing and deployment,
- Maintain server patch compliance in accordance with DoD-CERT (a division of the United States Cyber Command) issued directives
- Perform system security hardening to ensure that the CPF network infrastructure, systems, applications, and databases are in compliance with their Authorization to Operate and certifications
- Scan all identified (approx. 15) CPF system servers weekly to detect anomalous activities and identify issues that impact CPF system server functionality, to include, audit logs, system logs and the Navy approved host- based security systems.
- Maintain backups of all identified network device configurations monthly or whenever configurations settings are modified.
- Perform system security hardening to ensure that the sever systems are in compliance with their Certification and Accreditation Authorization to Operate
- Provide weekly status report
Requirements:
- 2-3 years recent experience in System Administration Services and Network Administration services
- Current COMPTIA Security + certification
- Experience Performing Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) security updates, including testing and deployment..
- Experience analyzing and interpreting the applicable Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs), document findings, and implement remediation and/or mitigations in accordance with DOD policies.
- Specific system/computing environment training / certification required within 120 days after hire
- BS in computer science or information systems preferred
- Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
