Solutions 71 is seeking a Project Manager to support and provide Information Systems (IS) operational and technical services for the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) and the T-JFMCC at the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters, HI. Various CPF technical and operations services to CPF, MOC and T-JFMCC will be provided in accordance with DoD security, governance and technical policies, and maintenance support of a range of specialized equipment requiring a service level agreement (SLA) for minimal downtime to avoid impacting operations.
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
- Information Management & Enterprise Services
- Provide subject matter technical expertise in support of CPF in matters pertaining to the execution of DON IT efficiency initiatives such as server reduction, data center consolidation, and the transition to enterprise solutions such as the Navy Marine Corps Intranet/Next Generation Enterprise Network (NMCI/NGEN) across the CPF-AOR
- Apply DON NAV-ITAS IT compliance requirements to related assigned SME review areas for thoroughness
- Provide DON legacy network/data center consolidation efforts as well as transition to NMCI/NGEN services; cloud computing; experience with other DON enterprise solutions/databases such as DON Applications and Database Management System (DADMS/DITPR-DON), DoD Information Technology Investment Portal (DITIP), Program/ Budget Information System-Information Technology (PBIS-IT; formerly Navy Information Technology Exhibits Standard Re-porting (NITE/STAR))
- Travel for technical conferences such as the Cloud computing working group may be required twice per contract period of performance
Requirements:
- BS degree or higher in computer related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- 3-5 years’ experience that demonstrate verbal and written communication skills to communicate with the Echelon I enterprise solution leads, peers, and customers.
- Current administrator/subject matter expert (SME) experience with DON legacy network/data center consolidation; DON Cloud computing efforts; and transition to NMCI/NGEN services.
- Current experience with other DON enterprise solutions/databases such as DON Applications and Database Management System (DADMS/DITPR-DON), DoD Information Technology Investment Portal (DITIP), Program/Budget Information System-Information Technology (PBIS-IT; formerly Naval IT Exhibits/Standard Re-porting [NITE/STAR]).
- Recent hands-on experience with submitting/managing Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS) Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) and NAV-ITAS processes and policies.
- Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
