Solutions 71 is seeking a Journeyman Telecommunications Engineer / VTC – AV SME to support and provide Information Systems (IS) operational and technical services for the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) and the T-JFMCC at the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters, HI. Various CPF technical and operations services to CPF, MOC and T-JFMCC will be provided in accordance with DoD security, governance and technical policies, and maintenance support of a range of specialized equipment requiring a service level agreement (SLA) for minimal downtime to avoid impacting operations.
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
- Fleet Briefing Room (FBR) Services
- Operate the CPF Fleet Briefing Room, a solely Contractor serviced facility
- Manage the FBR as a platform for exercise management and when required, a real-world operations center. Implementation of this task requires continued management of the FBR, system engineering of executive briefing and display systems, system operation and maintenance, and configuration management of Government installed briefing systems
- Maintain Configuration management, which is the current status of installed systems interconnections and technical characteristics approved by CPF N64
- Maintain FBR and War Room equipment availability with no lower than 95% over the course of a year
- Provide executive conferencing services to include video projections and display, computer services, and other video technologies at other Military installations and various commercial establishments within the state of Hawaii when necessary
- Conduct and document a continuing system engineering evaluation of the FBR systems performance, and make appropriate recommendations concerning potential system equipment upgrades and refreshes
- Provide maintenance and repair services to meet the requirements of the Fleet Briefing Room, War Room, Volcano room, and executive VTC room. Oversee maintenance service agreements for all equipment as required.
- Work outside of normal duty hours may be required which will be pre coordinated (if possible) and will not extend past the 40-hour work week.
Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant/recent executive conferencing support and VTC and conference center Audio visual system operations and maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of Audio/Video and Tele-conferencing equipment to include Direct Light Light-Emitting-Diode (LED) video display walls, VTC Coder/Decoders (CODECs), inverse multiplexers, VTC high-definition cameras and microphones and be knowledgeable in Auto Cad or equivalent.
- Recent experience providing executive conferencing services
- Certified Planar Direct Light LED Wall implementation and maintenance preferred
- BIAMP audio processor certification preferred
- Cisco AVB C9200 series Network Administrator preferred
- Crestron Digital Media Certified Designer preferred
- Must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance
