Solutions 71 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a Department of Defense customer. The Senior Network Engineer will assist the embedded NIWC Pacific USSTRATCOM Engineering Team in the design of innovative and cost-effective mission-relevant solutions including systems engineering, applications, cyber security, cloud, infrastructure, life cycle cost estimates, and operational solutions that address USSTRATCOM’s IT Enterprise and NEC operational and technology needs.
Specific Duties / Tasks (include, but not limited to):
- Development of integrated, cost-effective networking solutions that meet the customer’s requirements
- Creation and the documentation of technical solutions, plus the development of the costing of each for implementation, operations, and sustainment.
- Design, specification, integration, and implementation of large-scale internet protocol (IPv4/IPv6) networking infrastructures spanning complex distributed networks of multiple classifications hosted on-premises and in multi-cloud off-premises locations utilizing associated information assurance processes/procedures
- Integrating network solutions with complex data centers, Department of Defense (DoD) Command and Control (C2) systems, audio/visual and video-teleconferencing systems and information assurance processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Total years of related experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years, or Master’s Degree/PhD with 10+ years
- Cisco professional-level certification (CCNP) or greater
- Experience with Datacenter networks to include VXLAN, Network automation / orchestration with skills in Python, Ansible, API’s, YAML, and/or Terraform
- Experience with Reliable and redundant enterprise network services, including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TACACS+, RADIUS, NTP, SNMP, 802.1x, NAC, and NetFlow
- Experience with Networks intrusion detection and protection systems, Networks firewalls and proxy systems, Cyber vulnerability detection and assessment, Network-based information assurance devices, Networks Cross-Domain Solutions
- Experience with DoD security processes and procedures to include DISA SRG/STIG, POAM, and PPSM
- IAW DoD 8570.01-M, must meet IAT II minimum qualifications
- Must possess an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
