Solutions71is seeking a Configuration Manager to provide configuration management planning, describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. The Configuration Manager regulates the change process, so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
Specific duties but not limited to:
• Provides guidance and leadership in all aspects of configuration management.
• Responsible for configuration status accounting
• Tracks problems and changes in product documents, software and reports changes, and current configuration.
• Develops, reviews, and maintains a configuration management plan for all aspects of the software lifecycle.
• Oversees packaging of the software releases for testing and deployment.
• Directly supports the development, management, maintenance, of the Configuration Management environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration
• Directly supports preparation of software baseline for import and customize for releases
• Configure and implement workflow and project settings in the system
• Set up and maintain an online checkout/check-in library of software License
• Utilize Government furnished change management tools including Confluence and BitBucket
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or computer science field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum IAT Level I certification required
• 3 to 5 years of IT related project experience
• Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
• Must be able to do the following:
o Update artifacts (diagrams, hardware/software lists, etc.)
o Develop schedules collecting input from a variety of sources, prepare and coordinate deliverables, conduct analysis, and communicate findings to the project team and leaders
o Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for the project and the necessary documents to accomplish the estimated results
Must have strong communication skills and initiative to interface with the customer or internal program management personnel
