Solutions71 is seeking a Clinical Chart Analyst to retrospectively review clinical notes and collect clinical data following a set of standardized coding procedures in a healthcare research environment. The location is at The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) within the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
Duties:
- Manage the distribution and collection of patient surveys
- Maintain patient demographic databases
- Manage data collection and QC efforts
- Collect and codify clinical patient records
- Collect and distribute patient satisfaction surveys to corresponding clinical staff
- Download survey responses from patient responses and order discharge and follow-up surveys as needed and put into proper patient folder and Carepoint Information Portal
- Download Discharge surveys in the patient folder and Carepoint Information Portal
- Collect Patient Satisfaction survey comments and deidentify information before placing them in the proper folder and document on the share drive
- Create tokens and enroll new patients in the Wounded, Ill and Injured Registry (WIIR)
- Collect data from multiple disciplines and code, deidentify and quality check information
- Help colleagues with research as needed
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Stay current on required testing annually
- Utilize AHLTA/CHCS and other systems to collect clinical information
Requirements:
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete a federal background check
Desired:
- Degree in heath data analytics, data science, informatics, statistics, or related fields.
- Familiarity with standard data analytics toolkits such as R, Python, and SQL, etc.
